Pill Bottle Storage
I have my wife’s prescriptions all over the house. I came up with this easy to make storage solution. The best part about this solution is it could be easily converted into any kind of storage: Coffee Keurig cups, Spice rack, nuts and bolts anything. Check it out.
Start with two 9″ squares. You can use what ever you want for material, i’m using .25″ MDF. double sided tape was applied and the two squares stuck together. Then find center by connecting the corners, draw the line all the way across, you need the layout lines. The divide the square into 8. This is easily done with a square. Place the square flat on one edge and connect it to center on all four side. Then from the center draw a circle 2.5″ Radius. Then draw a 4″ circle radius. You should have a your lay out.
Use a 1 3/8″ forsener bit to do the outside hole and 1″ hole in the middle.
For the base I use .75″ plywood. 10″ Square to start, found center. Draw a circle 4.25″ radius. Hole a 1″ hole .5″ deep.
Cut the circle out. Smooth out the circle. Spit the two .25″ pieces, on one of them cut one hole away.
Cut a 1″ dowel down to rough size. Insert into the base an pre-drill for a screw. I put 3 rubber feet on the bottom.
I spray painted a 1.25″ PCV pipe black. Taped up where I was going to cut. Then cut to rough length.
Assembly is easy. 1)Dowel rod into the base, held by one screw. 2)Stick of PVC 3)hole rack (all eight hole) 4)PVC 5)Hole Rack two(the one with a missing hole) 6)topped of with a knob.
