2016 Zombie Weapon Challenge
In spirit of the season premier of the Walking Dead, a bunch of video creators has gotten together to make Zombie weapons. On Oct. 23rd 2016 at 12:00pm est. you are going to want to check your YouTube feed. Over 20 videos will be released all at the same time. Each of those videos should have a playlist link in the description, from there you’ll be able to check out all the other videos and consider subscribing to each one of the creators as well. This should be a very fun day seeing some creators make something that you normally wouldn’t make. As far as my project for this challenge, lets gets started. #ZWC2016 Continue reading “2016 Zombie Weapon Challenge”
Drill Bit Storage
This week I had some guest over to the shop Bob Blandford @ RJB Woodturner, Cory Irwin @ Black WidowWorks, and Guy Dunlap @ Guy’s Woodshop. We hung out all day and made four shop projects. One of things we wanted to do is make a project on the fly. This mean we had no idea what we was going to be making until that day. My first project posted on YouTube was a deck of card made from a 2×4. I have been having woodworkers sign them as I meet them. We laid out those signed card and drew a random name. What ever name was drawn you had to build something from there list of project. I got to do a project for Cory. Cory did a project for me. Bob did one for Guy and Guy did one for Bob. These other project can be found on there channels. Continue reading “Drill Bit Storage”
Carbide Tipped Cutters
Bob Lee and I collaborated on this project. Wood lathe tools made for about $30.00. Bob made the metal part seen HERE. I made the handles. This was a long over due project for me. I didn’t realize the roughing tools worked this well. If you don’t have one; buy one, make one or steal one, they are Awesome!
‘Twas The Night Before Christmas
I thought I would do something a little different this year. I ask some YouTubers to record a some lines for me. It took about a month to get all the lines recorded and send in to me. A great collaboration with over twenty participants and the video turned out great. Sit back and enjoy ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas Poem from some of the best woodworking YouTubers and friend I know. Thank you all so much for you help making this video!
I encourage you to take a look at the tags of within the video. I didn’t promote myself during the video, instead I put link for local charities. These are great charities and the money raised will help a lot of people.
Build this simple in the wall, between studs, shadow box. My wife and I did this in one full day to display her Crystals. It turned out great and it’s a simple weekend project. Continue reading “Shadow Box”
