On Oct. 23rd 2016 at 12:00pm est. you are going to want to check your YouTube feed. Over 20 videos will be released all at the same time. Each of those videos should have a playlist link in the description, from there you’ll be able to check out all the other videos and consider subscribing to each one of the creators as well. Drill Bit Storage

Drill Bit Storage

This week I had some guest over to the shop Bob Blandford @ RJB Woodturner, Cory Irwin @ Black WidowWorks, and Guy Dunlap @ Guy’s Woodshop. We hung out all day and made four shop projects. One of things we wanted to do is make a project on the fly. This mean we had no idea what we was going to be making until that day. My first project posted on YouTube was a deck of card made from a 2×4. I have been having woodworkers sign them as I meet them. We laid out those signed card and drew a random name. What ever name was drawn you had to build something from there list of project. I got to do a project for Cory. Cory did a project for me. Bob did one for Guy and Guy did one for Bob. These other project can be found on there channels. Continue reading “Drill Bit Storage”

‘Twas The Night Before Christmas

‘Twas The Night Before Christmas

A great collaboration with over twenty participants and the video turned out great. Sit back and enjoy ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas Poem from some of the best woodworking YouTubers and friend I know. Thank you all so much for you help making this video!

I encourage you to take a look at the tags of within the video. I didn’t promote myself during the video, instead I put link for local charities. These are great charities and the money raised will help a lot of people.

Build a Computer Desk

Computer Desk

As I was gearing up for my next project, planning, budget, and so on. My wife drops and a bomb on me. She says, “Lets build a computer desk and I want this one.” as she gives me the set of plans. I took a quick glance at it and said you really want this one? The plans was okay, it was simple construction, denominational lumber, and pocket hole joinery. Not at all what I would have done, but it worked out. I told her that WE could due the project but WE have to film it and she does most of the work. I got to admit ,I was hoping she back down from it. That back fired on me and she says OK!!! So here we go. Continue reading “Build a Computer Desk”

Chess Pieces Collaboration

Chess Pieces Collaboration

This collaboration has been two months in the making. These chess pieces has been sent to Steve Ramsey – Woodworking for Mere Mortals. They were made to complete his chess board when he first started YouTube Back in Aug, 2008.
Steve, whether he knows it or not, has inspired a lot of wood workers, such as myself. To not only go to the shop and make something, but to shoot video and post it to YouTube. I think people gravitate to Steve’s Videos because he makes it look so easy and natural. He has a great personality and makes woodwork fun for all types of people.
